General Terms and Conditions |

| | Scope
The following general terms and conditions apply to all events, particularly for courses, trainings and seminars conducted by the Akademie Würth in Bad Mergentheim.
Registration
Please register yourself for the seminars with the appropriate form included in the Akademie Würth in Bad Mergentheim brochure or by emailing the registration information to akademie-mgh@wuerth.com. We recommend an early registration as the number of permitted attendees is limited for our seminars.
Your registration is binding and will be booked in order of receipt. You will receive a registration confirmation immediately upon completion of a successful registration. Just prior to the commencement of the seminar, you will receive a letter with additional information. You should contact the Akademie Würth in Bad Mergentheim should you not have received this letter by at least one week prior to the onset of the seminar.
Should the event already be over-booked, you will receive an immediate notification from us that your registration cannot be considered.
Payment Terms
Our prices and fees include the legally mandated value added tax (VAT). The participation fees are to be settled within 14 days from receipt of the invoice.
Cancellation and Termination
A cancellation fee of 50% of the costs for the participation fees (including VAT) will be assessed. This also applies for cancellations due to circumstances of natural disasters or acts-of-god. Should the cancellation be submitted less than one week prior to the onset of the seminar or should the participant fail to appear, then the entire participation fees (including VAT) will be assessed. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Akademie Würth in Bad Mergentheim.
Changes in Program
The Akademie Würth in Bad Mergentheim shall have the right to cancel seminar events due to insufficient participants or the unanticipated delay of the scheduled instructor. In this case, all previously paid fees will be reimbursed in full. Claims to compensation resulting here from are excluded providing this was not intentional or was not the result of gross negligence. This also does not apply for circumstances of simple negligence in conjunction with violations of contractual obligations except for circumstances of explicit legal liability, particularly with guile and acceptance of a guarantee or culpably caused physical injury.
The Akademie Würth in Bad Mergentheim is also authorized to make content and organization changes or modifications prior to or during the event as long as these do not significantly impact the benefits of the participants for the announced event. We are authorized to replace the intended instructor with one of equal qualification and knowledge of the subject for the seminar due to emergencies such as illness or accidents.
Data Protection
The Akademie Würth in Bad Mergentheim adheres to the legal requirements for data protection, particularly the regulations of the German Legal Code for Data Protection. By registering for our events, you authorize the use of your information for the necessary organization and conduct of our events.
Validity
Contractual changes as well as additions must be made in writing to be considered valid.
