Introductory Workshop Change Management |
|
| |
| | Change Management is the process of changing an organisation or its units along with its structures and the people who work within them. It is orientated to specific values and principles. Change Management means consciously designing these changes: they should not simply “happen” as unexpected or spontaneous secondary effects of technological, economic or staff-related improvements, but instead be prepared, introduced and implemented based on clear principles, objectives and values. And this also means making changes that are orientated to the specific situation of the organisation and to the people working within that organisation.
A necessary core competence of Senior Managers is the initiation of change processes and transforming resistance to changes into a motivation to implement those changes.
